The Coon Creek Watershed Council of western Wisconsin, in collaboration with the Monroe County and Vernon County Land and Water Conservation Departments, is working to address new threats from catastrophic flooding. Together, they aim to improve and restore Wisconsin soil, water, and air. With the Rural Climate Partnership, the three groups are working together to plan sustainable and cost-effective conservation practices to mitigate flooding and provide other environmental benefits to rural communities.
