The Food and Farm Communications Fund

Location: National

Grant Amount: $175,000

The Food and Farm Communications Fund (FFCF) is a participatory grantmaking fund that channels support and resources to grassroots movements that protect indigenous food and agricultural systems. With a mission centered on uplifting and amplifying stories that drive transformative change in food and farming, FFCF emphasizes community nourishment, healing, resilience, and sustainability. They employ communication as a strategic tool for organizing and advocating for equitable and sustainable agriculture. This collaboration represents a strategic alliance to collectively resource and empower grassroots movements that are reshaping and recentering our focus on equitable food and agricultural systems. Support for FFCF will enable a broader reach and deepen the impact of their work, particularly in empowering rural BIPOC leaders engaged in climate and regenerative agriculture narrative work. This partnership will enhance narrative change efforts, ensuring that the voices and solutions from rural Black and Brown communities are heard, supported, and scaled.
