The EcoWomanist Institute aims to increase the inclusion, ecological awareness, and environmental leadership of African American women. The Rural Climate Partnership is supporting the Institute’s Black Women Future Farmers Incubator to build a community model around the values of food and social justice while integrating regenerative practices that store carbon in the soil, increase soil health, and build rural economics for Black women farmers. The Incubator is getting started with a pilot cohort of farmers in 2023.
