Appalachian Climate Technology (ACT Now) Coalition envisions a just transition from coal in West Virginia. The Coalition is made up of community-based nonprofits, West Virginia cities, economic revitalization organizations, leading academic institutions, and private sector innovators. In collaboration with the Rural Climate Partnership, ACT Now will help implement eight ambitious business development, community planning, workforce, and construction projects in Appalachia as part of a Build Back Better award.
