The Rural Climate Partnership is a funding collaborative rooted in rural America. RCP provides grantmaking, technical assistance, capacity-building resources, and narrative infrastructure to:
Strengthen rural economies through clean energy and agriculture transitions that improve rural peoples’ lives and help them save money
Advance locally-led climate solutions that reduce rural carbon emissions and mitigate air and water pollution at their source
Deliver equitable benefits from climate investments, especially in rural communities of color that face, or have faced, environmental injustices
Transform climate narratives to center opportunity, shared economic prosperity, and rural leadership
Our roadmap includes four core investment priorities and five supportive investments
RCP’s narrative, network building, best practices sharing, and policy work seek to benefit rural communities nationally. However, to maximize the impact of our place-based grantmaking, we focus on the following states.
